We prefer Monte Aventura, a company from Ojén.
With open jeeps taking a tour to the Natural Park of the Sierra de las Nieves (declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO), with 50% of the time off-road.
The purpose of this ecotourism programs is to discover, by visiting the park and the typical white villages like Ojen, the authentic Andalusia. During the tour, which takes place in open-top jeeps with a capacity of 9 persons including the driver and the guide (Born to be wild), they explain everything about the fauna and flora of the place and the history of this preserved park. They also talk about the origin of the authentic White Villages. It is also possible to swim in the lake of Istan (Born to Be Wild) or in waterfalls of Rio Verde (Monte Aventura).
Lunch will be taken in a typical restaurant with Andalusian specialties. The tours guarantee a good atmosphere and show a totally different side of the Costa del Sol. Here you will find the real Spain and you can enjoy the sunny fresh air in the beautiful nature of this area.

Jeep Safari Afternoon trip
Visit the Sierra de las Nieves and the Eco Reserva
During spring, the Sierra de las Nieves, the mountain area next to Ojén, is at its best. La Posada has descriptions of the numerous beautiful hiking trails that are available. Since last summer you can also make an excursion by jeep to the Eco Reserva, where Antonio tells you about the flora and fauna of this area. He also knows where the deer and mountain goats (cabra montes) are situated. The two-hour excursion, which starts in the early evening, usually ends a bit later, because Antonio doesn’t stop telling. Sometimes there are also animals that need to be cared for temporarily. This excursion is fun for young and old !!
