Since the arrival of co-owner and cook Alex Leenen, former chef of restaurant ‘t Veerhuys in the Netherlands, you will be treated with culinary delights.
As most of you know, the village typifies itself with delicious tapas on the square. Although a restaurant with a more modern / international kitchen was still missing.
We now serve dinners a few times per week, when there is enough demand.
This varies from a daily special to a 3-course menu.

La provincia de Málaga cuenta con numerosos rincones naturales o incluso enclaves urbanos que invitan a la relajación y el sosiego. Estos espacios son aprovechados por muchos alojamientos rurales para ofrecer espacios donde disfrutar de la tranquilidad, proporcionar un descanso y conseguir desconectar, ya sean apartamentos, casas u hoteles.
Para pasar unos días de sosiego y tranquilidad no siempre hay que irse hasta alejados enclaves en la naturaleza. En ocasiones, ese remanso de paz puede encontrarse en el corazón de un pueblo blanco como Ojén. Es el caso de La Posada del Ángel, un coqueto hotel situado en una calle que desemboca en la plaza principal del pueblo. Pese a ello se trata de un alojamiento decorado con un exquisito estilo andaluz. Las habitaciones invitan al descanso y a la relajación más absoluta. Eso no quita para que después se pueda disfrutar del cuidado casco urbano de Ojén.

If you like to learn the Spanish language, La Posada offers the possibility to follow an introduction course to Spanish. A Spanish teacher, living in Ojén, will teach you the basics of the language so you can greet people, order in a restaurant and make a brief conversation. Also more advanced people can improve and expand their knowledge. You can expand the course per day and practise at the village square. More information.
Ojén was Mountainbike Village for a weekend. The village and especially the surrounding mountains hosted the Cannondale Big Ride. Winners were worldchampion Jerome Clementz and Pauline Dieffenthaler. After a few years the mountains are recovered from the fire of 2012 and the Ojen Bikers prepared the old tracks for the annual Big Ride.
