We are working on a calendar of major events in Andalusia
OJEANDO Festival is one of the main events of the province of Malaga
It is an independent pop-rock music festival with its own personality with three stages situated in the city centre.
Ojén is a typical Andalusian village with white walls and narrow streets, but during three days this bucolic image becomes a more modern and avant-garde one.
OJEANDO Festival is an anti-crisis festival that gathers high quality of veteran groups with new groups from Malaga and the rest of Andalusia.
OJEANDO Festival has become an essential meeting point for those who love good independent music with its own personality.

The annual Malaga fair in August is an exuberant week-long street party with plenty of flamenco and ‘fino'(sherry). The fair commemorates the re-conquest of the city by Isabella and Ferdinand in 1487 and traditionally runs from Saturday to Saturday on the third week in August. The 2017 Málaga Feria dates are 12th to 19th August.
Feria de Ojén 2017
9-12 october 2017
Between the 9th and the 12th of October, the Feria of Ojen is celebrated. San Dionisio Aeropagita, patron saint of the village Ojen, covers with its cheerful cloak the fair of the village. The festival takes place mainly at the main square of the town and tradition dictates that this party has to begin with a fanfare in the streets and the procession in honor of San Dionisio.
Orchestras play pasodobles, sevillanas, malagueñas or verdiales eevry night very close to many traditional tapa bars. During the day, there are traditional games and dance performances.
Feria ends on October the 12th with the procession of the Holy Virgen del Pilar and fireworks.
